Shakarkand ki chat or sweet potato chat is a popular North Indian street food which is tangy and spicy at the same time. Usually served during winters, seasoned with chat masala, lemon, tamarind chutney. This is also a common ingredient to consume during fasting days (Navratri, Ekadshi, Janamashtmi). The only difference is, in fasting days we add rock salt, lemon juice, vrat ki chutneys, and cumin seed powder. D1 Kuttu Ki TikkiVrat Ki Chutney shikanji vrat ki sabudana khichdi 1 Apple Vrat Ki Chat/Shakarkand ki chat

    Note

    1. Adding chutneys is purely choice. You can eliminate as required.
    2. After boiling wait till shakarkand is at room temperature. Otherwise, shakarkand loosen and become soft.
    3. Chutney should be thick. I added everything while shakarkand was hot. That is the reason they look very very soft.

Nice chaat recipe. I love the colour of the sweet potato that we get abroad. In india it is like a normal potato.
