There are two ways to make onion capsicum paratha, first, make the filling and then stuff in whole wheat flour dough balls, or just add the chopped onion and capsicum with few spices directly in the flour and then make parathas. I am making this paratha from the second method. You can add any vegetable with chopped onion which makes it more tastier. I added chopped bell peppers and believe me this simple onion paratha tasted out of the world.

  1. Our Sindhi Masala Koki is almost the same – just a little thicker and some more fat :(( , but it’s a great idea to make parathas which will consume lesser oil . Excellent parathas ! I simply live the onion in these .

  2. This method of adding the onions and capsicum in the dough itself is easier than the stuffing one. I love onion in parathas, but haven’t tried adding capsicum. Must be a very flavorful one.

  3. I just love adding vegetables to the paratha, adding onions and capsicum to the paratha looks simply ultimate. Can imagine the aroma of this paratha rite from my lappy screen.. Incredible Paratha there.

  4. Onion paratha is my favorite paratha, but never added capsicum in it. I’m sure it must be tastier and more flavorsome than onion paratha. Next time will add capsicum to my onion paratha
