Mangoes are full of nutrients especially vit C, a water-soluble vitamin that helps in iron absorption and aids in the immune system.

Apart from vit C, mango provides a small amount of phosphorus, calcium, selenium, lots of fiber, and loaded with antioxidants.

    How to cut mangoes

I do cut mangoes in two ways. One way I simply peel the outer skin and then cut them in small pieces one by one. picture 6,7,8.

And the second method is to slice both sides, make cuts, and scoop out the cubes. picture 1,2,3,4,5

    • Take a sharp or serrated knife and cut lengthwise on either side of the mango.
    • Make 3 horizontal and 3 vertical cuts in the flesh of the sliced part. NOTE- be careful not to cut through the skin.
