    Green coriander chutney or hari chutney is very famous with snacks like tikki, kababs, fritters and great for sandwiches too. This chutney is also a  must have dip for any kind of stuff parathas. Blending green coriander, mint, green chili, ginger, garlic together and chutney is ready to serve in a few seconds. A little change in any of the ingredients and you will get a new flavor of chutney altogether. Here I am sharing this chutney with peanuts, my sister-in-law makes this way.Green coriander chutney or hari chutney is very famous for snacks like tikki, kababs, fritters and great for sandwiches.

    I remember my father loved having coriander chutney for lunch or dinner. Those days we did not have a grinding machine, only "silbatta". And it was a big task for me or to my sister to get chutney done on that. We used to avoid sometimes by diverting topics and then mummy used to make finally. Now after having grinder-mixer I keep making this chutney for my kids and keep remembering these moments.

    Green Coriander Chutney Recipe

    Ingredients                                                                              4 Serving

    1 Cup Green coriander roughly chopped
    5-6 Garlic pods
    1 Green Chili
    1" Ginger chopped
    2 Tblsp peanut
    1 Medium size tomato
    Salt as per taste
    1 teaspoon cumin seeds
    1 teaspoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
    ¼ Cup water use more if needed

    Method

    1. Take all the ingredients together in a grinding jar, and grind them to a smooth paste.
    2.  Use more water if needed. Adjust thickness as per your requirement.
    3. Serve with snacks, kababs or pakora. This, green coriander chutney is super awesome with any kind of snacks.

    Note

    1. Add more water if needed.
    2. Adjust green chili as per your taste.
    3. Similar way spinach chutney can also be prepared.

      I just made this for the first time last month and it was so good with paratha - but I did not inlcude peanuts - will have to try it that way next time

      The texture of the Chutney looks lovely , I too add peanuts at times , but tomatoes is new to me . I agree that mixers and blenders have made life easy .
