Fruit custard is a dessert prepared with custard sauce and adding fresh sweet taste fruits. This is the simplest dessert which is tasty, creamy and gets ready in just a few minutes. Fruit custard is also known as fruit salad with custard, loved by all age groups and a perfect dessert for the party.
To prepare fruit custard first start heating milk on low flame, adding brown and polson custard powder and cook for few more minutes till it thickens further. Adjust sugar as per taste, for aroma, I add some cardamom powder and delicious custard sauce is ready. Add cut fresh fruits after it cools down and serves.
I have used banana, apple, grapes, and pomegranate. Any fruit which is sweet in taste can be added. Avoid adding many citrus fruits like orange and kiwi as they do not go well with the custard. Also, don't add watery fruits as watermelon or muskmelon.
Having so many fruits in the custard sauce is the reason for calling it fruit salad with custard. Add any seasonal sweet taste fruit and enjoy.
